The BRFN Housing Program

The BRFN Housing Program includes projects for on reserve housing needs. These include new housing starts (pending available funding), on reserve housing renovations, and the RRAP program through CMHC.

BRFN currently has approximately 378 houses on reserve. The population currently living on reserve is approximately 2,300-2,500 membership. The total population is approximately 3,700 of BRFN registered membership.

Recently, BRFN purchased 41 trailers for BRFN membership, a project spanning from 2014-2017. The BRFN does not utilize the CMHC housing program to fund on reserve housing starts.
