Aboriginal Headstart Facility

Work has begun on a new Headstart Facility on the Big River First Nation.  The new Headstart facility will provide space for up to 30 children that are potty trained, ages three and up.

The foundation work has been completed, framing has begun with the remainder of the building construction to take place in the coming months.  Construction is expected to be completed by late spring / early summer 2018.

A grand opening for the facility will be announced once construction is completed early this summer.

Funding for this project has been provided by Health Canada.
